VILLA NOVA ATHLETIC CLUB

We are the master sponsors of Villa Nova Atlético Clube, the centenary soccer club from Nova Lima, which has one of the largest and most passionate fans in the interior of Minas Gerais. Known as Leão do Bonfim (Bonfim Lion), in reference to the district where it is based, the team has played over 3,100 games since it was founded on June 28, 1908, and has won one Campeonato Brasileiro da Série B, five Campeonatos Mineiros, two Taças Minas Gerais and four Campeonatos Mineiros do Interior, as well as six vice-championships.

TRAINING MTC ATHLETES

We support one of Brazil's main breeding grounds for high-performance athletes. Since 1960, Minas Tênis Clube (MTC) has had at least one representative at every Olympic Games.

MANO DOWN SPORTS CIRCUIT

Cedro is one of the sponsors of the Mano Down Sports Circuit, run by the Mano Down Institute, a reference in supporting people with Down's Syndrome. Itinerant, the event consists of activities such as street walking, sports workshops, yoga and slacklining, and has already been held in municipalities in Minas Gerais such as Itabira, Mariana, Itabirito, Congonhas and Conselheiro Lafaiete.

GYMNASTICS CLUB SPORT

Another initiative supported by Cedro is the Esporte Clube Ginástico project, which aims to improve the technical and tactical skills of high-performance sports teams and, at the same time, eliminate school dropouts among athletes.

SCHOOL OF THE FUTURE - GALO INSTITUTE

We are donors to Escola do Futuro, which supports the training and human development of children and adolescents aged 5 to 17 who are in vulnerable situations. As well as sport and leisure, the project includes educational, nutritional and psychological support, and support for strengthening the family and community life of the participants, in Belo Horizonte, Rio Acima, Crucilândia, Itaúna, Brumadinho and São Domingos do Prata.

AMDH - SOCIAL SOCCER OF NOVA LIMA

Developed by the Associação Mineira de Desenvolvimento Humano (AMDH), with sponsorship from Cedro and support from the Associação Cidadania, Diversidade e Movimento (ACDM), the project serves underprivileged young people in the city of Nova Lima (MG) by offering soccer-oriented activities, associated with actions that enable the individual's integral development and training for the exercise of citizenship and leisure.

SÉRGIO SETTE CÂMARA PROJECT

A project that gives underprivileged teenagers (all of whom take part in the Bolsa Família program) in Vespasiano (MG) the chance to take lessons and practice motor racing. There are 40 participants, including boys and girls from ten municipal schools, who perform well at school and attend classes. They take part in two weekly meetings, where they receive theoretical guidance and drive go-karts, accompanied by monitors. Outside the track, they also receive support from psychologists and food.

IJBS

Cedro is a supporter of the Educating Champions Project, run by the Jutta Batista da Silva Institute (IJBS), which serves socially vulnerable children and teenagers aged between 7 and 17. The initiative works on participants' karate and chess skills in four communities, three of them in the municipalities of Venda Nova do Imigrante and one in Domingos Martins, both in the state of Espírito Santo.

SOCIAL FOOTBALL

The project serves more than 400 socially vulnerable children in the Alto do Vera Cruz neighborhood of Belo Horizonte. The children are encouraged to play sports such as soccer, volleyball and judo.
